These cyanotypes were made in the Birmingham sunshine with ferns foraged on a walk in my local woodland.

Cyanotype is a historical photographic process where chemicals are painted onto the surface of the paper or fabric in subdued lighting. Once dry the paper is placed in the sun with objects on held down with glass. The sun exposes the chemicals. The paper is then washed in water and the exposed areas of the paper turn blue.

Each notebook is completely unique.

PERSONALISATION: Free foiled personalisation on the cover with all book orders. Capital letters (plus numbers & limited punctuation) available in font Optima in two sizes (22pt & 14pt). Choose your foil colour from the swatch photo. One line of text included in the price, 7.5cm in length.

Keep out of direct sunlight. Direct sunlight may cause the cyanotype to fade, but colour should be restored once it is left out of the sun.
